First off, there CAN be hydrgen produced in a 'green' way, but politics and stigma need to be adressed, and unfortunately they play a bigger part in this then the technology does. Hydrogen can be produced as an afterthought in a modern nuclear power plant. I dont mean a 3 mile island/chernobyl type water-cooled-radiati on-disaster waiting for meltdown and the polution that we dont know how to get rid of other than bury it. I mean PBMR (Pebble Bed Modular Reactor), a safer and cheaper reaction with helium as a coolant with the extra heat energy being used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Look it up. For 22 years there was a similar prototype made in W Germany in 1966-1988... Kids in China did, now they have a small prototype in Tsinghua University in Beijing. We need to get our heads outta our butts and pick up the ball and run with it. Saving the planet and making a buck doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.

Actually, hydrogen is practical and do able. Hydrogen fuel is being used in Europe already along one large strip. I don't think having a design like this will keep manufacturers from controlling the price, because the actual skateboard is just a base price. the design you put into the rest of the car will be the difference in the cost of the cars. I definitely believe that this is an awesome idea.

this car is a step in the right direction but what really needs to happen is come up with an energy scource that replenishes itself

this is a neat idea. but wtf, hydrogen has already been proven to be impractical nay impossible. however, you are still able to keep that same concept if you switch is to just electric and have a recharge station. and you get even less emissions ^_^. i think the ppl need to know is that you switch from any kind of "fuel" (hydrogen even) then it takes away from the central power method that allow corporations to maintain control over the prices. if you make it decentralized then we could get some where.

I like it but how much cost would be ?. If you make it comfortable price, we'll going to use it. If it's not, it isn't work for us. Thanks
