Okay now, so I am taking the chance to do this little thing here to show the basis rhythm for—there is going to be some rock in it. It has been requested this morning and since I am not in brome right now, I have my guitar with me but it is unplugged because it do not have an amp but the chance is good for me to show couple things. The first one is the lick itself because this is the basis for blues and rock and roll and so you can use this and have fun with it.
And the other thing is that the guitar has to sound well and the rhythm or the jungle, the lick what you want to call it has to sound well even when the guitar is unplugged. And actually it is a great chance for you to practice with an unplugged guitar because you will get to really play it. You do not have any help from your amplifier and all the mute and false notes, so all the mistakes that you make come out clearly. So the guitar has to sound right and well even when you are unplugged, it is a great way to practice.
So let us go back to “there is going to be some rocking” and it starts in an open D and it think I am not going to start in Angus right away joins in and I think it goes something like this. See I am barely touching the D string open D after I have finished the little, I would go, very slightly there. Disregard the jet, the airliner that is passing by. So, you can hear barely that open D because what we want to hear and this is typical of the boogie is this part. Then we go to open G, same thing here, and now we move to A and that is it and you have the solo, which is not of course like this, this is just licks that I am improvising right now.
Just to show that the guitar has to sound pretty loud and clear even when unplugged and actually when you cannot do this, you cannot be sure that on your amp it is going to sound killer. So this was all for now, thanks for watching hope it helps. Ciao!
