if your a pro bartender you could also ask the name of the person buying the Guinness beer, and with skill you can 'write' the name out on the surface of the beer. great if you can do it, great for tips! Cheers!

this is done correctly except theres only one problem, nad its a health concern. if you take bartending school youll learn that teh tap should never touch the glass in case theres a buildup of anything under or around the tap and once you hit the inside of the glass with the tap, the buildup could end up falling into your draft. i dont think youll want that. so keep the tap head clear from teh glass, just tilt it at a 45 degree angle, with one inch of foam/head. CHEERS!

WAIT A MINUTE! the only right way to pour a beer can be the one from its origin. GERMANY! and we drink it with one quarter head. any other way is just wrong or culturally related. but thats the original, right way.

No!
Sorry But this is completely wrong. The head on the first beer is far too much, 3cm should be the limit. Not an inch and a half. Guinness should be poured at a 45 degree angle for the first 3/4ths of the glass, and let it sit for up to 5 minutes. Then obviously the clover on top :)
