Hey what’s up this is Gerald Hill and I wanted to give a plug for a book that I finished reading recently called, “Love Is the Killer App” by Tim Sanders. This book is great. It talks about the concept of showing the love opposed to being an all about you world. And I mean it says in front of the book how to win business and influence friends and it all has to do with sharing love. It talks about personal branding which I am a big a fan of. And it also talks about just different ways that he extended himself to other people. It helps you kind of decide the right kind of people to extend yourself with, and how to be keeping yourself aware of all those people out there that you could be talking to, that could be potential partners in the future for business.
So, it’s a good book. It’s very inexpensive. You can get it off of Amazon.com. “Love Is the Killer App” by Tim Sanders. I am one of those people that writes in their books and highlights stuff and it’s just—I got this book highlighted all to heck. Nobody could borrow it because they get so side tracked.
Let me just see if I could find a couple of quotes in here or something that I highlighted that maybe good. Well, let us see. There is—this kind of hit me when I read it. It says, “Companies that create positive experience rewarded with loyalty and premium pricing while company is paying attention only to the bottom line or not.” That is very strong to me because, obviously everything that we do we want to make sure it does not have a negative effect on our bottom line. But you don’t want to only focus on your bottom line. You want to focus on adding value and building on that because if you are just focusing on your bottom line only, how can you charge more, how can you differentiate yourself from other people. And this book really helps you kind of see where you are at in that area and it gives you a lot of thought and ideas.
So I highly recommend, I mean it is a $13.00 book but for some reason I think I got it for less at Amazon.com. So check it out “Love Is the Killer App” by Tim Sanders. Excellent book! Take care and we’ll see you next time.
