Welcome to WatchMojo.com. I’m your host Angelica and today we are profiling Portland. Portland has set at the junction of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers and both spectacular, natural scenery with ample opportunity for outdoor recreation. Approximately 2 million living surrounding metropolitan area making it the 24th largest city in the United States. Portland’s climate is temperate and seasonal. Snowfall is rather uncommon. The city of roses offers abundant waterways, lush greenery and numerous parks and gardens. Tourist will also enjoy strolling through Portland’s historic old town and a charming McCall Waterfront Park. Sport fans of all ages will relish a trip to the hometown shop Nanky town followed by Blazers game at the Rose Garden Arena and what the city is award winning mass transit system getting around is a breeze. Portland is a city of parks with 37,000 acres set aside for your enjoyment. Mount Tabor Park is home to an extinct volcano, while Washington Park is a beautiful refuge that includes traditional Japanese gardens.
