Ivy Hartman: Going green can save more than the environment. It can make a big difference in small business budget. Entrepreneurs are finding easy ways to reduce, reuse and recycle but it difference to both costumers and consumers.
Jean Ponzi: Upgrading a copier or a printer so that you can make double sided copies anytime you choose. You will cut the use of your paper. You will presenting a greener image; I can't tell you what to be when I look at something and it comes to me single sided copied. That’s not a very high level of awareness.
Ivy Hartman: Reduce; recycle and reuse can employees would clearly mark and well placed recycle bins to promote environmental awareness in your enterprise. Consider teaming up with neighboring firms to reduce collection service cost and space needed for recycling and dumpsters. It could reduce the cost of your garbage pickup.
Jean Ponzi: Can you downsize the cost of the dumpster outside your business or the frequency of dates that but that dumpster is empty by your trash holding contractor which decreases your trash holding costing and then invest back into the recycling program. Or if you’re in business in a street mall for example or in some kind of a multiplex, can you firm a little green coop among the businesses and going together to source recycling collection as well as trash collection.
Ivy Hartman: Many cities and communities have paper recycling programs to where the participating agencies host recycling bins and earn money based on quantity of fiber collected. Adopting your local school or community group as a cycling partner cannot only save your company money in trash cost but it is smart marketing move to increase your businesses profile in the community.
Any information-based business can reduced trash volume by 50% to 80% just by recycling paper and it can allow you to downsize your trash collection services. Community based purchasing coops with neighboring businesses can lower cost on a variety of supplies a small firms need.
Jean Ponzi: Where you source products, recycling your waste, the any of the efficiency of the space that your costumers come into and then think about some ways in which you can really reduce your businesses impact on the planets natural system as a whole.
