Dr. Lisa: Great question and I will have her sexplanation right here. Basically, women have, the normal position of the uterus is anteverted meaning, it's held forward. This is the bladder, right here. The cervix is right here. This is the uterus and the normal uterus tilts little over the bladder so that is why if you have a fibroid or something like that can cause problems with the bladder and then if it's tilted backwards, you can actually see, you may have problems with the rectum or things like that, but usually it does not cause problems with infertility, usually does not cause problems with pain with sex and if you do, trying different positions usually help.
