To succeed on your own business, you have to sell. There is another way. So, some of the things we need to do is identify the right prospects, develop a great presentation. Go and see the client, do your presentation, ask the right questions, always ask the right questions. If you ask the right questions, you will identify what product or service they need to do. Listen more than you talk and if you go out there and doing it, you sell, sell, sell, you can develop a very successful business.
In business, there is no other way, you got to sell. Mark was a typical entrepreneur He was a great sales person, decided that he was going to go a very, very competitive industry that HETNA business. The first thing he did was a very, very common thing. What he did is identified who am I dear costumers. Who my prospects that I know I can sell to better than anybody else. And what Mark did is he developed a list benefits. These are the things that I can offer. This costumer is better than anybody else. So he did this, then what he did is he approached these costumers one on one. And he used a couple of techniques. Sometimes, it involves finding somebody up and setting up an appointment and then going to do his presentation. But other times, he was just being in the area. For Mark, there was a great thing as, if you ask the right questions, costumers will often give you the answers and they will make the purchasing decision. So what Mark learned to do very, very quickly is ask the right questions. If you ask the right questions, you will get the answers that you want. And if you get the answers that you want, it makes the sales much easier and this is what Mark did. The important thing that I also learned from Mark the importance of perseverance, the importance of perseverance and importance of never giving up as a sales person.
