Next time you are about to flip out, try diaphragmatic breathing. Breathe in through your nose on a slow count of three. Focus on pushing your stomach out as you breathe in. Now, breathe through your mouth on slow count of six. This easy practice which you should repeat several times by the way forces more oxygen through your body and leaving you calmer. The technique also forces your mind to focus on something other than whatever is causing you to stress. Practice defectively diaphragmatic breathing maybe all the jobs security you will ever need.
