In that envelop, we had a sales letter and this is an interesting thing. This sales letter is the same sales letter that we had on the website at that time and we actually sent some emails first. What's interesting to me is that after sending emails, sending people to the website to read the same - every word is the same, pictures are the same, it's the same stuff and then we sent this and they buy. Why? I mean, they had that all in the internet. What changed? What changed is different methods, different format.
Some people will read on internet, some people will read it in the print, so you have to do all of these different things to fill a seminar. It's not just sent an the email and expect the right to show up to your seminar. Different little things we put in there, I always put some kind of testimonial brochure and in fact I am going to talk a minute about testimonials and how to do them, but testimonial brochures with pictures and descriptions, auto forms, on the back of the auto forms, we either out a testimonial or we put some kind of instructions, something we want them to know and we often do bonuses if they enroll earlier, they get certain bonuses. So we have a description of what they get, their gifts when enrolling early.
So that was a first piece. Actually it was not the first brochure. I will show you -- it actually start with the postcards. But that was the first package. Now I am going to send some of these again. I have just couple so I am going to start them around. I am going to show you examples of what we do.
Postcard, a lot of these when I create a campaign, I want the same message running through the card. So the last one with the elephant. The message was this is the last million dollar speaker training. So I will change my message. I will change my cards but that was the message. The one theme that runs through my campaign.
Now this one was, we were marketing during July when we had, this July 4th so everything was kind of leading up to claim your independence, financial independence and come to the speaker training. So I am going to send some of these, just for you to look at some cards I am going start some of them over there. This was the 4th of July card, so I had the flag with the both, again, claim your independence. This one was, I will start this one here too. This one was I have a mouse running through the maze and it talks about to find the fastest proven method to make an obscene amount of money, in public speaking even if you have experience or current topic. So when I have to say that I look at cards, and I think the headlines or look at pictures. That's what I do. I look at the pictures. Can I use this somehow? And what kind of headline can I put in there. So I am going put the same, it's the same card so you can look at them.
This was, now this was an interesting card. John was in Thailand in June and we had a training in August and I said, John, send me a picture from Thailand. And here is what I did. As soon as John was coming back on June 12th. On June 13th, we sent out the picture, and this was his picture in Thailand, and on the back, it looks just like the postcard - I will send this through, and it says, I have just finished my second speaker training in Thailand, just want to say we missed you but hey, we have another training coming. So I like to do postcards that are funny. I like to do postcards in the same campaign. Postcards don't might have a calender in them. These are all that different methods because some will appeal to some people, and then others will appeal to other people.
