Here is another strategy. Reposition your target, or your product to a different target market. If you have a product right now and you are working with your market and you are saying, okay my market is not big enough or I am doing as much as I can, I can't sell it any more. Here is what I tell people. Let's look at a -- let's go to the completely different market and see who else can use your product as this. So you don't have to do anything. Maybe you might have changed a few little things but who else can benefit from this product.
Now there are the right ways and the wrong ways to do it. Here is the right way. This is what I did. I have a five step marketing blueprint for speakers. And if you have not been sleeping so far, you have probably understood that I am telling you as a speaker you still need to have a website, right. You had to have products, you sell them through direct mail. You sell them all these different methods. What I found is that info-marketers, that's what they do.
They sell products through websites, through direct mail, through all these different methods and I tell them by the way, you need to get on stage and speak. So the product that I have applies, even then every example in there applies to both markets, the speakers and people who are info-marketers. What did I do? I changed my marketing.
You see, when I market my product for info-marketers, it sounds completely different than my product for speakers. Now, I know that they both can use the same product but when I talk to speakers I say, I know how this product will help you build a system for you as a speaker and I know how when I talk to info-marketer, I show them how well, you might have a website right now. You might be selling your few products here and there. Let me show you how to build a system that's going to open your business and just explode your profits with the same product.
So right now, think about, if you -- I know you have been thinking, you have been sitting here for last couple days, thinking, Oh! I have got an idea for a product. This is going to be great. Well, go a step further. Who else can use this product that you haven't thought about, just by changing the marketing that you are using. So that's the right way to do it. This will be a wrong way to do it. Yeah that's my favorite. If you are on the back, you can see that's a Picante Sauce, yes, I like that and with a lot of pictures, okay.
