Tips on Using a Hair Straightener Flat Iron
Hey it's Erin. The reason for my video today is to answer a question which I get asked a lot and that’s what I use to style my hair. I get asked this question when my hair is straight, wavy, curly, when it was long, now that it’s short and what I use is the Karmin Salon Pro G3 hairstyling iron.
Other than my hair drier, this is the only tool that I use. It’s extremely versatile and that it curls, waves, flips as reach on short hair, long hair. It’s got a maximum temperature of 420 in a low of 180 making it perfect for all hair types and textures. It can straighten out the curliest, thickest hair as well as it is safe enough to use on thin and fragile hair.
To give you an idea of it works and as well as some styling tips while I'm here, I'll show you how you can curl— you're going to take a section about one inch. You want to place your hair straightener at the roots and twist it. And so we pulled down and keep turning as you go down. That's going to give a curl.
Now, because my hair is short, the ends always stick out funny so I have to re-shape. So, we got a curl there and let’s see. My hairs got a bit of a wave to it right now so you have to let it straighten. Of course my hair is naturally wavy. My biggest problem is frizz in the winter time. I use this and I have no problem with frizz all day.
That seals the hair nicely. It gives a nice shine. There you go. And then you got to straighten your hair. You want to go down a section of your hair slowly because this avoids you having to go over and over the same section again and again which can cause more damage to your hair. If you'll go slowly enough, one should be good. Let’s see how straight that gets.
It’s also great if you have layers or a bit of a razor cut. You can instantly twist the iron to get to the ends. It gives a bit of a flip there and I'll go all these different pieces going on this, re-curl this one and see if we can get the end tucked in there. It’s got a nice little curl there. Of course if your hair is longer, you're going to have more of a curl but I've got a pretty short hair now.
So yeah, you can do a lot of different things with this and I guess that it was great for all hair lengths. It comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty so if you buy a Karmin hair straightener, you're going to get a 3-year warranty. Any problems or whatever, you're just going to let them know and they’ll replace it for you or fix it, not a problem.
Honestly, probably the best hair straightener that I've used in my line of work, I have used many straighteners, many different brands. And I have to say by far, for the price you pay for this, it’s absolutely the best you'll get and I think anyone will be happy with this hair straightener.
