Samantha Brown: Alright so here is my top 5 what I love most about Singapore.
Number 5 would be arriving at Raffles. Of course I love the great hotel and this is one that I have known about for Gosh! I mean 25 years at least for me so getting to see grand dawn up close is a real special treat.
Number 4 would be the Luge on the island of Sentosa with gourmets. I am always a very congenial person, friendly, humorous so it's really good to kick someone's butt in sports.
Number 3 would be Palau Ubin; it's only to see an island that was really what the Singapore look like 40-50 years ago. It's a great place for a bicycle ride and an even better place for good fish eye curry. I really enjoyed being and escaping from the city.
Number 2 would be Laksa. Oh my Gosh, that is definitely a dish I will always think about and always crave and no, I will never be able have unless I come back to this country.
And the number 1 experience I had in Singapore was getting all decked out and partying with the Peranakans. It's the one thing to get to know a culture and another thing to dance with them.
