So, just to show you the process, I am going to create a Clipmarks account, so I put in my email address, rob@themematic; Username, themematic; my password. I type in these two words here that gives me that capture and click, I Accept. Create My Account, and then it logs you in. And basically, in order to use Clipmarks, you need to have this Clipmarks tool in your browser. This only works with Firefox or Internet Explorer and it's just a little plug-in that you get and you install that and to explain you how to do that, I will show you.
What you do is click this Install link once you logged in and it takes you to this page here. It's say, Install the Clipmarks button for your browser, and if you are on the Firefox, you click there and if you are on Internet Explorer, you do there and it will install this little plug-in that gives you this little button here. So, let me take you to the next step.
After you have got that installed, what I am going to do is, click on this Settings link and in the Settings link, you are going to go over here to your My Public Profile and you are going to put in your real name which if you've created this identity on, let's say, Yahoo! and you use the name John Smith then you would put John Smith, because you are going to be creating multiple identities. You create, you put whatever name you used for that identity.
Location, you don't need. About Me, whatever you fill as much and as little as you want and the main thing is here that you are going to put in your website URL and what's going to go here is actually a external blog URL. So, I am going to show you about the external blog stuff in a minute. So, I just put the name and my blog URL here; I don't bother with the pictures. You will have one main Clipmarks account which you will use for your main blog or whatever but when we are talking about doing multiple profiles, we are talking about doing them with fictitious name. So, whatever that fictitious name is, you put real name there.
Next step is to set up a external blog account with this identity used for Clipmarks. So, I am going to show that to you in the next video.
