Okay, so once you've created your Clipmarks account with your new identity that you created on Yahoo!, the idea now is that you need to have a place to clip the content to. So, you have a tab here after you put in your name, in this case, let's say, I put in my real name here, but I don't have anything to put here yet. So, what I do is, I go to Clip-to-Blog, I just want to show you that on this Clip-to-Blog tab, it's going to give you a few different options.
So, when you click on the Clip-to-Blog tab, it says, "You have not configured Clip-to-Blog. Please add at least one blog." So, you click Add my blog and it's going to give you a few different options here and it says, Blog Type and there is a drop-down. And you will see, you can have a Blogger, WordPress, Live Journal, Movable Type, TypePad or Vox. We have to set these up first, so that you have the information to put here, but I just want to point out that Blogger is owned by Google and it also there is some kind of bug, at least, in Firefox that I've noticed where getting this whole thing to work smoothly with the Blogger account isn't so great.
So, maybe I just want to stick with WordPress, Live Journal or Vox and I am going to show you how to set up blogging accounts on these three services. TypePad and Movable Type are blogging software that you have to install on your own domain, but these other four; Blogger, WordPress, Live Journal and Vox are external blogging platforms that allow you to set up free accounts and you can have as many as you want.
So, for every identity that you create, you are going to create a WordPress or Live Journal or a Vox blog that seem relevant to that keyword on one of those services. So, what you are going to is I am going to show you in the following videos, how to set up a Vox, how to set up a Live Journal and how to set up a WordPress blog and then once you set that up, you would put like if I have choose WordPress here, then I would put in my WordPress Username and Password in the URL of my WordPress blog and then I will go back to My Public Profile and put that URL there as well.
And then every time you use Clipmarks and clip something, it will automatically create a blog entry for that particular blog service. So, I will show that to you in the next video.
