Hey! Picking up where we left of. We talked about how the value of these links coming in to our pages are increased by two things. Number one is theme relevance. It is better to have links from pages that are about the same is about that you are linking to. And also the page rank score that Google gives that link and you can find that out in various different ways, we will get in to later but the point is that the quality of the link is more important than the quantity of links and the quality is determined by this Google pr value. And this Google PR value has nothing to do with what you talk about when you say you are link number one in Google that is not the same kind of page rank we are talking about, this is an internal Google scoring system.
Moving along, the ranking in the search, that means when you say you are rank number one, number three in Google for a certain keyword, this is affected by a page, any page will get listed higher in the search in the result pages by acquiring more quality inbound links and quantity inbound links but you are better off with quality than quantity, so, you know, you want as many as high quality ones that you can get and those are more valuable than low quality ones. And what determines the quality is the Google PR score page rank score and the theme relevance of the contents on the page linking to you and the keyword anchor text that is used which will to you in a second.
Now pages higher up in your site hierarchy which means your homepage and your silo pages benefit from lower pages like your article pages and product pages and subtitle pages getting boosted from inbound link, so when you get links in to this pages that actually boosts this pages up.
And lastly the keyword anchor text links where the keyword used in the link is relevant to the page content the link points to, on other words, I have a page here on -- about hair removal and the links hair removal, the hyperlink keyword says hair removal and it links to a page about hair removal because all of that is theme relevant that increases the value. So it is best when your links come from theme relevance high PR scoring pages as opposed to you know, ones that maybe about cell phones linking to a page about hair removal.
Quality inbound links to deep product or article pages of your site from theme relevant external pages will boost the rank of these pages in the search engines which in turn will boost the rank of higher pages in the hierarchy like your home page and your title page. So the idea is we just do not link to our homepage we also just do not link to our silo page or pages but we link to the deepest pages to our site from other external sources that are about the same subject and the keyword anchor text, the hyperlink that comes from that external page should also be the same keyword that the page you are linking to is about. So this article page is about Nair hair removal and it is coming from an external article page, that is about Nair hair removal and the anchor text link that is linking to this page says Hair Nair Removal and this external link is page rank value of 10, well guess what, this page is going to rank very highly in Google and the page above it is going to get boosted from that and your home -- entire site is going to be boosted from that. so that is why we want to require high PR value, external links that are theme relevant as many as we can and we are going to how to do that without having to rely on anybody else, you can do it yourself and create your own value which is what we are going to show you in the next video.
