Nessa Wrafter: Hi Karine! Thanks for having us in the salon. Karine Jackson: Thanks Nessa it is great to have you here. Nessa Wrafter: So tell me now. You are not just a hair dresser; you are an award-winning hair dresser, aren't you? Karine Jackson: Yes, I just won the title of London Hairdresser of the Year and which has been amazing. So I am very excited about that. Nessa Wrafter: And I believe that you are famous for your hair coloring. Karine Jackson: We love coloring, we have introduced organic range into the salon which has just been absolutely fantastic and it is going down the storm. Nessa Wrafter: So for the brides that are watching, if you have got, maybe for example, a Spring or Summer weeding, what do you recommend they do? Karine Jackson: We'd always do the color fan on every client that comes through. It tells us whether they are warm or cool tone suit them and if they are having a Winter weeding if they are a cool person, we wouldn't go really icy blonde, we would go more for warm brown -- cool brown and things like that. In the Summer we would go for golden blonde to feel a little warm, really bright and vibrant. In the Winter if you are warm, we can put warm brown on your hair or put nice golden highlights. If you are cool, we would go for the icy one, but not in blondes, not too blonde because in the Winter that can really drain you and for darker colors we do cool browns, chocolaty browns and things like that. Nessa Wrafter: So talk me through what we are going to do with my hair today? Karine Jackson: Okay, we are going to do a color fan on you and we are going over nice glossy color. Just looking at your skin tone, we want to give it a lift so we really Rita Hayworth, it would be great. Nessa Wrafter: Yes that's perfect. Karine Jackson: Okay we will show you the head over, so consultation chair and get started. Okay well let's see whether are you are warm or cool. I think you are more warm. You could pass for cool. See how that gives you definition there, but if you don't have any makeup on, you are not having a great day, little bushy dry out, make the lines look quite heavy. Whereas we bring it back to here, it softens it a little and just makes sure the complexion look more even. So let's say you are warm today. So what I think it is going to suit you something like this -- the toffee would be quite nice and maybe fraction too light. We can go for I think actually -- nice golden brown -- yeah that's quite nice, something like that just nice and rich. Or if you want just a little bit more vibrant taking that one more chestnutty. Nessa Wrafter: Oh, they are both lovely. Karine Jackson: We will go for this one here. It is just a little bit more fun. Nessa Wrafter: Great. Karine Jackson: Okay, alright. Nessa Wrafter: Am I going to be able to touch? Karine Jackson: Nearly yeah. Okay, how do like the color? Nessa Wrafter: I love it. It is really warm and it is really subtle, but at the same time really high. Karine Jackson: Yeah, it is fantastic, with a great gloss, it just looks really healthy for winter, great shine in it, ready to go.
