Monday, August 4, 2008, was another absolutely gorgeous day and a holiday, so this was the perfect opportunity to take my European visitors on another bike ride to explore Toronto. We headed south on the Don Valley bicycle path, and my guests remarked that there is an astounding amount of green space in this big metropolitan city. There are even opportunities for off-road mountain biking in this city.

August 4th, 2008, 10:30 in the morning. We are just doing a little bicycle tour as you can see our vehicles are parked over there. We just came down the Don Valley bicycle trail, first the Kill Creek Park that bicycle trail and then Don Valley and we are just found here now in the Distillery District in Toronto. On another absolutely gorgeous day, obviously this is historical complex build in 1832 and there is more than 40 buildings that have been revitalized all the way leading back to the Victorian-Era. It would be Gooderham & Worts Distillery at this hotel, lots of different spirits that were being manufactured here.

Since the location has also been used as a backdrop for various films in the past, it's very popular filming location. Toronto itself actually, frequently gets used as a standing for Chicago or New York City and quite a few movies have been made here. So we are going to explore different places here of this Distillery district and then we are going to make our way down through the lake shore.
