Transferring From a Community College To a 4 Year University

Brad Barnett: The transfer process between Community Colleges and 4-years colleges, I believe it is getting easier all the time because we were seeing more and more students going 2 years and then moving to a 4 year after that saves them lot money. The best place to get the answer to that question is going to be at the 4 year college you want to attend. Find out, do they have any feeder school? Any feeder Community Colleges, where they have, maybe guaranteed admission agreements. So, if you go to this college for a couple of years, with certain requirements will they guarantee you admission into their school? If they don’t have those, make sure you understand what the transfer process is like so, that you take the right classes, you fill out the right forms by the appropriate deadlines but by and large, if you pay attention to that, ask the right questions, you should able to transfer pretty seamlessly.
