This is by no means a bonsai.... in fact, its an atrocity to bonsai. Bonsai are trained over many years through pruning and wiring. You can't just take a bush, prune it, and call it bonsai! Reduction of roots should only be done after years and years of care and training with a large trunk structure as a result. Then and only then should the roots be reduced and the bonsai repotted. I feel sorry for those amateur being fooled into creating this fake art-form. For those really interested in creating bonsai art, do research; read books, join clubs.
