Hey everybody, what's up? I am Kevin Flynn and welcome to Travel Bytes from Cedar Point and as you can see, all kinds of great amusements for you and the family here but if you are going to get out of those amusements, you have got to keep the stomachs fit, the kids and yourself, and we have got three great signature places where you can get some. So follow me.
Our first food stop is The Happy Friar. There is all kinds of places around the park where you can French fried potatoes. In fact, each year they serve over 595 tons of this stuff. So that's a good thing as I am going to order two tons now. How you are doing? Give me a two ton family crumble.
Attendant: No problem sir, anything else?
Kevin Flynn: There are many varieties of fries, there is chilly, there is cheese, there is garlic, there is regular. Biggest problem is deciding which one to eat so I am going to eat them all.
Alright, now let's head to a place that's in the center of every thing, it's a great restaurant called Coasters. We will figure. Hey, how you are doing? Now we are going to go back to the 50s for the next place to eat. It's Coasters and it's located in the middle of the park. They serve all kinds of great shakes, and burgers, and fries, and lots and the service is quick too, because you want to get back out on those rides. It will touch you. Coasters is your classic all American burger joint. Here you can find everything from burgers and shakes to chicken fingers and fries, good. The service is just about what you would expect. Friendly, fun, and totally accommodating. It's no wonder, Coasters is a fan favorite among all Cedar Point guests.
It's great. All the workers are just up in the – the costumes of the day in 1950 and all the food is made to order, looks great.
How you are doing? Yeah, that's my car parked out, how you are doing? Two thumbs up at Coasters and it was fast too, which is good because I want to get back up on the Coasters.
Wow! That's it, we are back and you can never go wrong with a burger. But now time for the fine dining, so it's off to the Marina and Bay Harbor.
Bay Harbor is the perfect place to enjoy a fine dining experience at America's greatest amusement park.
Speaker: Well, the nice thing about this restaurant is that we are located outside of the park in the Marina so we offer an excellent view. We are kid finally, we have a kid's menu, but the nice thing about this restaurant is that it's different from the other restaurants in the park. We specialize in sea food but we offer stags, we have pasta, we chicken dinners, we have a wide variety of things but our specialty is sea food.
Kevin Flynn: Bay Harbor is a much more relaxed dining experience. Enjoy fresh sea food, juicy stakes, or hardy pastas, all while looking out at the beautiful Marina and sand dusky bay. Now Bay Harbor is known for all its food but it really specializes in sea food. They have all kinds of local fish like perch, walleye, and of course you have got the stars, have the sea food place a little shrimped.
I am stuffed. Now what better way to end a great meal than with the world class selection of deserts. Lisa.
Lisa: Here we are. Our deserts tonight, here there is our chocolate pyramid, it's filled with a white chocolate mousse, turtle cheese cake, vanilla bean cheese cake, key lime pie, straight from the Florida keys, bourbon pecan pie, and our triple layered chocolate suicide cake with slivered almonds.
Kevin Flynn: Yes.
Lisa: Okay.
Kevin Flynn: You got to know what you want in life and I want it all. That was great. So we showed you three great place to eat and all of them located right here within the Park. So join us next time on Travel Bytes where we will check out the reason this place is the most famous amusement park in the world for the fun.
