Mexico is full of hidden treasures. Today we’re going to take a closer look at three of its northern states. Northern states are known for their extreme weather conditions and characterized by their deserts, nature reserves, and rugged mountain range. Some cities in this region are key industrial and business centers, Chihuahua. Chihuahua is the largest state in Mexico with a mainland area of 244,938 square kilometers slightly larger than the United Kingdom.
The state of Chihuahua is located on the northern end of Mexico, on the northern west central plain. Its climate is dry and semi-arid although there are regular rainfalls and occasional extremes and temperature. The average annual temperature is 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Its spectacular canyons are the biggest in America. Within the canyons are beautiful waterfalls. The city of Chihuahua has numerous architectural attractions such as the cathedral built of pink quarry stone which shows the first traces of the baroque style Durango.
Its population is over 1.5 million people that has Mexico’s second lowest population density after Baja California. The city of Durango is the capital of the state of Durango. Durango’s climate is dry most of the year and rainy in the summer. This state has cultural heritage of strong traditional and excellent cuisine. One of the advantages of visiting Durango is there a futurist. This is beneficial because there isn’t an economy built to around charging northerners, high tourist praises.
Coahuila is located in the middle of the northern border of Mexico and it’s entirely land. It has an area of 150,395 square kilometer which is third place in size amongst the state of Mexico and a population of over 2.3 million inhabitants. This large state has a ht climate and offers great natural beauty. Places like Sierra de arteaga, an ideal spot for various outdoor sports. In the town side cities of Choahuila you can enjoy urban areas natural settings and a hospitable atmosphere. In Saltillo the state capital known as the Athens of the north due to its architectural and strong cultural traditions you can attend lively fiestas like the Santo Cristo Del Capiro.
