Hello everyone, this is Anthony Montalbano here with internetriot.com and today so I have for you is TripIt.com. Well what’s really cool about this site here—actually really how it works is it allows you to organize all of your traveling. So if you travel a lot this is definitely the service you should be using. Every single time you book for flights and you get those email confirmations, you can just forward right on over to plans at TripIt.com and you just forward all of your travel plans to this and what it will do is help build you an awesome itinerary that will show you where you going to be staying, when your flight leaves, takes off, when you land and all that kind of stuff. It just keeps everything in order for you. It makes it really easy to just go and like print out an itinerary flight trip that you’re about o embark upon.
So, I’m going to show you here a couple of things I like about Trip It and some things that you may not know about Trip It if you guys have already been using it. So, what were going to do, I’m already logged in to my Trip It here, I’m going to click on my trips and you can see I have this upcoming trip her for February and I’ll click on it and it’s really easy if you just want to add anything to this, you can just click at add plans for the day, I already preset this thing up for the dates I’m going to be there for each one, I’ll just click on add plans, so you can add your flight, your lodging, and car rental. And again, like I said, if you send the emails over, you automatically populate this stuff and build this thing for you. That’s what ‘s really cool about that.
So, one of the things that I really like about this is you can build up a network of friends and so what it allows you to do is, it’s a social networking tool that for all your other friends that are also using Trip It, every single time they travel or they are going to be say somewhere in the same location as you, you’ll know so you’ll see her like here for instance, upcoming trips, it says “Who’s close?” And it will show you who’s going to be either traveling the area or lives in that area so it’s kind of cool because if you’re going to be like on a business trip for a weekend, you can see it, maybe that some of friends are going to be in the same since maybe you can meet up for them for dinner or drinks or whatever.
So it’s a definitely cool way to not only organize your trips but find out who’s going to be in the same vicinity or where you’re going to be when you’re on those vacations. Also, one more thing you can do is, you can see who’s going to be visiting your home location, so say, you live in Detroit Michigan or whatever, if someone is going to be visiting in that area, you can also see right within your Trip It saying, “Hey, someone is going to be traveling and they are going to be right where you live.’
So it’s a great tool to be using to organize your travel and also to find out, like I just said, who’s going to be where you’re traveling or if they’re going to be traveling right where you live. So again, that’s all I got for you, Anthony Montalbano, internetriot.com. I will se you again.
