I thought I speak in a monotone and talk fast, but WOW(!)... lady, don't you even come up for air??? For a place that's supposed to be laid back and ideal for retiring as an xpat, well...my head's spinning! I'll have to learn about Belize elsewhere.

Whether you come for a day a getaway weekend or longer Baja California is an interesting mixture of the typical and modern things with big cultural activities. Baja California which means Lower California is the northernmost state of Mexico. Its northern limit is the US Mexico border adjacent to the US State of California. The peninsula Baja, California 781 miles long and the average width is 86 miles which makes Baja California one of the largest peninsulas in the world. The state has a population of over 2.8 million people much more than the sparsely populated Baja California sorter south. Over 75% of the population lives in the capital city of Mexicali or in Tijuana. Additionally, there are large immigrant populations in the United States. Due to its proximity to San Diego and its cheaper cost of living and the number of high paying jobs in comparison to the rest of Mexico and Latin America, Baja California’ climate varies from one city to another. In general, the seasons are clearly marked, fall is fresh, winter is cool, spring and summer are sunny and warm. Every season offers you a different phase of the Baja California landscapes. Down in Baja California there’s never a shortage of entertainment and hotels. From the high-class five star luxury resort hotel to the bed and breakfast a place to stay is never a problem. Baja California is a tourist hot spot especially in the summer where college students from the United States go down to enjoy their vacation. During this summer months tourist entertainment is mostly beach and any other summer activities. Family entertainment is one thing that Baja California excels in and is not limited to the usual theme parks and water shows. Baja, California can be foreground for boosting your kids’ historical knowledge. A shockful of museum and historical landmarks Baja California is loaded with history that will not only provide educational insight of the land but as a means of entertainment for kids. Baja California is a state with interesting places, big cities, and many little typical towns. It offers peaceful and safe sites to visit. So enjoy the warmth of personal hospitality of the people.
