The Czech Republic is located in Central Europe. Its borders are shared with Poland, Germany, Austria and Slovakia.
It was once half of Czechoslovakia until the country dissolved in 1993 to form the unique nations of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Prague is the Czech capital as well as its largest city. The official language spoken throughout the country is Czech which dates back to the late 13th Century.
The Czech Republic enjoys four distinct seasons. The country’s terrain is punctuated by an abundant mountains and bodies of water.
Over 2,000 castles and shuttles dubbed the country’s landscape making the Czech Republic a romantic travel destination full of natural treasures. A visit to the Czech Republic is sure to be full of things to see.
