Built in 1962, the Space Needle serves as a symbol of that year’s world’s affair. It has since become the symbol Seattle and one of the most recognized world structures in the entire world.
Number two, experience the music project. This rock and roll museum is a massive multicolored building at the foot of the Space Needle. The 140,000 square foot museum takes you through music history with nearly 80,000 artifacts with notable artist.
Number three, the Seattle Art Museum, this museum is internationally recognized for its excellent collection of Asian, African and Native American art. More than 21,000 objects are house within the five-storey limestone, terracotta and marble building.
Number four is a Pike Place market. This is the oldest continuously working public market in the country. Its nine acres and a hundred of years of operation encompass thousands of unique and interesting stories. They explained why Pike Place is called the soul of Seattle and number five is Washington Park Arboretum. It’s a spectacular urban 230 acres of green space in the shores of lake Washington. It has more than 130 endangered plants plus more than 40 rare trees plants and flowers.
