The greater Toronto area has a population of 5.9 million. As Canada’s economic hub and a major global city, Toronto has highly developed finance, telecommunications, transportation, media, software production and medical research industries. The city is home to the CN tower and a majority of the country’s Corporate Head Offices and Transnational Corporate Offices.

Toronto has a 46 km along water front shore line. Its borders abounded by lake Ontario to the South and the Rouge River to the east. The city experiences four distinct seasons with considerable variants in day to day temperature, particularly during the winter months.
Toronto is a major scene for theater and other performing arts; with more than 50 ballet and dance companies, 6 opera companies and two symphony orchestras. The city is home to the National Ballet of Canada, the Canadian Opera Company and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. By night, its people indulge themselves at the cities numerous restaurants, bars and clubs.
