Hi! This is Jimmy from buildmuscleandsixpackabs.com, I will talk to you guys today about building you triceps. Three key points to remember before we get to the best triceps workout you guys can do, one, the tricep muscle account for about 65% of the total arm size. Most people are too focussed on building up their biceps, but they won't be curl happy. They will do three or four curl probably one or two tricep exercises that they do, not good.
Two, the triceps, developing your triceps is a really quick way to increase your bench press. Most people when they're bench pressing get really stuck in the mid range to the top. That's all triceps, its power of just locking out. Three, is you want to make sure you vary your rep rates for tricep work, most people are so obsessed with the pump that they get from doing 10, 12, 15, 20 rep tricep steps, but they never focus on the lower rep stuff, 6-8 reps. We know the triceps respond a little better to two different types of stimuluses one high rep, one low rep. So let's get into the tricep workout.
Close Grip Bench Press 4 sets of 6 reps.
Elbows Out Extensions 3 sets of 4 reps.
Incline Tricep Extensions 3 sets of 8 reps.
