LOAN SHARKS
Speaker: Well, my finances, it's a complicated issue, because there is so little to speak of. It's not like there is an abundance of money I could talk about forever. I am doing well in my career. It seems however, unlike popular belief, when you succeed in a career, you think money also comes in, apparently that is for ally that is --apparently, no, apparently you get pennies for things that are worth dollars, that's an analogy for the debt that I am currently on.
I realized this recently, is a homeless guy, I ran to homeless guy in the street and gave him a dollar, and I realized that that homeless guy is much better off financially than I am. He is at zero. I am at negative $40,000, he finds 10 bucks on the curb. He is doing homeless dances, he is treating his homeless buddies to dinner at Apple Bees or what not, shopping sprees at 99 cents store.
I am at home, I hove around the space eater eating Top Ramen for 90 cents, and that makes me feel sad, not sad, I am very happy in a very sad way, because honestly you are doing great in your finances when every third day you have really have the thought, God it will be great to find a bag of money, it's not like you are rolling in at that point of your life.
And credit cards are not great, because credit card debt is always looming, and I pay my bills on time, at least the minimum payment, so they keep increasing my credit limit. So essentially, I just keep going further and further into debt, yet I feel like I am very successful. Wow, credit limit increased, I am a Baller I am a high roller, and now I am 25 grand down the credit card, plus personal loans to certain interests, let's put it that way. They are nice guys, but I have money to pay them back first, because I like my legs, I like to be able to use them to run. If you happen to have a bullet proof car, I could rent, or a bullet proof jacket.
