Only me and 5000 straight peoples, that's how I role, yeah, every time. I am a very out lesbian comedian. I am known as the lesbian comedian by everybody. At the comic store, oh, it's the lesbian comedian, well she's the lesbian comedian. I am introduced as, well this is my friend Bridget, she's a lesbian comedian.
Like every place I go, I can't do anything about being a lesbian. Like at the grocery store, can I have some gum? Sure, Lesbian. Everybody knows and I am proud of it. In fact my sisters gay too, genetic, and it's awesome.
But when I go I do regular shows at the comic store on Friday night, and there are all guys. And it's like I have to pack myself, like I put socks and I have to be ready, like I am one of the boys. We are going on stage, and they are talking about drugs and sex and everything. Then I get on stage and I am like, you know what sucks, when a girl won't hold still and we are all hi-fiving. I am such a straight man, and it's bizarre, it's ridiculous.
But I like it. I think I scare them a little bit. Because, I am going to take that ladies. It's so funny, it's all boys and me, how did this happen, my poor mother.
