Hello again, David here with TubeMogul, and I am going to show you how to add a producer. So here we are on our Dashboard, and I am going to scroll down here to Bookmarked Producers. This is a great chance for me to explain what a producer is for those who are confused by our verbiage. All we mean by producer is an individual user or author or channel on one of the video sharing sites.
So for instance, the show, DadLabs on YouTube would be a producer or DadLabs on Viddler would be a producer, or Lonelygirl15 on MySpace would be a producer.
So to track one, all you have to do is go into the upper right hand corner of Bookmarked Producers and then track more, and that will bring up some choices here. You can choose which site you want to track on; YouTube Metacafe, MySpace, and it also in this other field here, we support a number of newer ones, and we are going to add logos later, but those will include Sclipo, which is a how-to site based in Spain, popular in Europe. Viddler, Veoh, StupidVideos, and Crackle.
So let's go ahead and use that and track the show DadLabs on Viddler. So what we do is we go over to Viddler and find the DadLabs channel. I went ahead and did that ahead of time here, and just copy the URL. Go back to our Dashboard, and go down here to what is the producer URL. We just enter that there. I can also tell you that if you only know the username or only want to put in the username, we accept that too, that works too. So I will just keep the whole URL field here, because sometimes that's easier, and you click Add Producer.
It verifies the publisher ID and then boom! It's that easy. There is DadLabs on Viddler, total number of views, cumulative, and Yesterday, and Day/day, and you click Reports, and adding a producer is just that easy. Be sure to check out our other how-to videos. Thank you.
