Hi! I am David Lupberger with service magic.com. For the past several years, architects and builders have been face with a new challenge. Turning master bedrooms into something much more special, a retreat from the rest of the house. Now, if you are wondering what this has to do with hot tabs and gazebos. Then take your imagination a few steps further in to what is becoming one of the biggest trends of home remodeling.
The master bedroom is now the master suite.

Master suite are now becoming the home with in a home, In new construction of remodels, virtually anything you normally find in the rest of the house is now just a few foot steps form the bed.
It is an all in one room. You can shower. You can do your laundry. You can read a book. You can enjoy a cup of coffee a glass of wine in the evening and watch the news is that spectacular. Vicki Pelletier is in charge of Denver’s parade of Homes. For the past 8 years, she has witnessed an evolution of the master bedroom.
Eight years ago you have would have seen massive bedrooms with huge beds and now you got more of a warm living feeling. It is kind of become a retreat for mom and dad, so to speak.
These rooms are definitely spectacular with a closet big enough to make you dizzy and room for washer and dryer. A sub zero freezer and fridge, fireplaces, wide screen TVs, and yes, even a waterfall in the shower built for two. This master suite allows the owners to get the whole days work or play done with out ever leaving the room.

It is kind a like being in a tree house up here on this 3rd level.
Dave Gillis and his wife recently turned the entire 3rd floor of there 19th century Queen Anne, into a 21st century master suite. The bedroom is expensive, the five piece master bath is filled with brand new travertine tile, and it is larger than many bedrooms.

Just with physical space that we have to stretch out in it is just phenomenal I mane it is the entire 3rd level and it is about just under a thousand square feet just for master suite.
The Gillis are not the only couple who decided to create special retreat for themselves. Architect says no matter the income of the homeowners, the number of request they are getting draw master suite plan is skyrocketing for new construction and remodeling.
Every project that I have done in this last year has centered around a master suite remodel of some sort.
Suzanne Minear is an architect with a place in time. She is also highly rated service magic.com pre screen professional. Suzanne says homeowners do not have to spend a ton of money to create there own master suite.
By taking out one dividing wall, they can drastically increase the space available for a master suite. Instead of having 4 bedrooms, upstairs may be now there are three, but one of them is a much larger suite. And, the cost that is involved with that is really not phenomenal.
And, much of the cost to remodeling a master suite can be regained when the house is sold by some estimates around 70 % of the cost of the project.
My wife and I really feel that this is going to add significant value to the house.
