Turning a Small Outdoor Space into a Backyard Spa
Derek Stearns: Dean and I are on the coast of in Kingston, Massachusetts where we’re creating an outdoor Spa for Rust and Delilah Boidleau. We put the shower and stone sculpture taking shape and the flags don’t getting set, the hard escaping it almost done. But to make it come alive, we need plants more than you might imagine.
Dean Marsico: Well, I thought we’re doing a nice little patio here and now we’re building the enchanted forth.
Derek Stearns: And we’ve got to find a spot for each one starting with the weeping Alaskan seller. Just do me a favor, pull help me pull that baby up, I’m kind of in the tough stuff. Thank you.
Dean Marsico: All right I got you.
Derek Stearns: Okay.
But there's plenty more to get in. The Japanese may 1:02 goes in the corner and the smaller plants boarder the flag. With all of us pitching in the final step before brining out Delilah is to hang on the door on a post attach to the outside corner of the house.
Male: I want you to close your eyes now, close your eyes. Okay, now what I want to do is I want to bring you to a spot and I just wanted you to—
Adam: Close those eyes.
Male: Okay, I just want you to lift your head and I want you to peak through this little window.
Delilah: Oh my God. Look at this
Male: And just kind of walk slow down the path and just kind of look at everything that we have here.
Delilah: Oh that’s pretty fancy looking.
Gosh, it’s so big here. Look at this, whole big section.
Male: It adds a tremendous value to our home. It gives us additional room to be able to entertain better and a beautiful place to go no.
Delilah: Oh my God, look at this. Oh wow, honey it’s beautiful. Oh my gosh I can't believe we really have—
