So, first part of the prize package we’ll be looking at is the mini 1000 and as netbooks have this great gadget feel for me, so I really like looking at these products. So, first I’m going to do is un-box this and let’s have a look on what’s inside. And as with all HP products, which I think is quite nice is a set of guides, so, there’s a nice guide there showing you how to unpack the box into the battery, power, open it up and turning it on. There’s some guide there about the wireless settings and so on. So the touch mark came with the same thing, the media smart have the same thing as well. This is the actual unit that go, the winner’s going to get, so I’ll be really careful with it, I’m not going to be opening all the packages for the, the competition. So there’s the PC, in the box we’ve got power supply, and I see the nice neat little power supply. It’s quite nice that, I compare that to my tablet PC power supply, see, it’s smaller, I mean, you got a netbook, you can carry it around you something small and these are the type you put the cable in to. My e PC has got a big, so that’s quite nice. Power cable, it’s a US, power cable, battery, also in the box, some instructions, an operating system CD which comes with Windows XP home edition with service pack 3 and a cleaning cloth. So I’ll get the box out of the way. So, let’s how, and what we’ll do is fit the battery now. Okay, so that’s the battery fitted. There’s a, probably difficult to show on the video, but there’s some nice etchings on there on the actual case, now, there’s a plastic film on the netbook, I’m going to leave that on for the winner to take off. So now, what I’m going to do is put this into the main. So this is the unit, I plug it into the power. Let’s have a look at it. First of all, let me say, it’s very light. The screen is very nice, quite glossy. There’s a webcam there, speakers in there, we’ve got a USB port there and blank port, I’m not sure what that’s for, let’s have a look at that. We’ve got MMC SD card slot there, we’ve got power, another USB port, expansion port, and a head phone port and another blank plate there, which is for the network. Quite a bit idea having the rubber bong over it because, most these things want to be put in to a network. Okay, switch DDD on. When you power the first time, you got the standard Windows XP installer, this being netbook, it runs Windows XP, so when we do, I lent you some of these, and we’ll have a quick look at the device. So the first thing that let’s check on the new machine, really nowadays is to see what extras has been installed that you want to get rid off, but actually this looks like pretty clean, we’ve got, okay, I think we’ve got Alien installed in there, Microsoft works, Adobe reader and Powerpoint viewer and apart from that it looks that there’s not a lot installed on there, which is great, what you want, especially on the likes of netbook. It’s got a web camera on there, so let's have a look at that, apart from that, we got the wireless, so there. We got the webcam’s coming up, so nice and nice and clean, which what we like. Here’s some specs out of the unit, it’s, it’s got an Intel Atom N272 processor, running 1.6 gigahertz, a 60 gig 4200 rpm disk, hard disk, it’s got 1 gig of RAM, it’s running Windows XP home edition service pack 3, it’s got a webcam, 10.2 inch diagonal screen, XO211BMG wireless and Bluetooth, SD only media slot and a three cell with lithium polymer battery. So what I’ll be doing, I’ll play around with this and some of which too much with it, but first impression are very nice, very light, nice solid feel of it. With a proper keyboard, which is really nice, so, one lucky listener, viewer, reader is going to get the prize pack, which includes this, so keep an eye out on the blog on the DigitalLifestyle.com, follow me on Twitter and look at some more product views and have a look at some of the prizes in the package. Thanks for watching this video, see you soon, bye.
