Understanding the Gifts and Images of Prayer

I am Joe McCloskey, a Jesuit. I’ve been in Jesuit priest for—since 1963 and I’ve been Jesuit 1950. And it’s hard for me to believe that I’d feel younger today than I did when I entered the Jesuits because I’ve still love to ski and I still love to play tennis and I still love to play golf. And there are some things in life that I would obvious do no matter how I feel and one of those things is prayer. Prayer is really the gift of God, opening yourself up to be our father, to be out brother in the son Jesus Christ, to be our lover in the Holy Spirit. So that the gifts of God are really the richness of God’s love that continues among us and our prayer if it’s going to be in pulls notion of the majority of our prayership be gratitude then it’s what we’re grateful for in our prayer that I would like to address in this segment.
