Update Manager Autoload in Ubuntu - Review
Ok this is another nonce, now, before the past in your Ubuntu, your update manager used to pop up an icon up here right on your tray as a red arrow icon. It says”do you want to update?” and all that: this time it pops up automatically in your face like this ok, and you cannot do anything about it. This is annoying because this is the equivalent of windows. You know the pop up says, “Hey you have your firewall, hey you have a virus scanner on”, that is stupid. Do not try to be windows with that shit; that is annoying. Therefore, what we are going to do is to bring it back to the good old days of the icon, and to do that, just press alt+F2 and you get the one dial logarithm. In addition, what you are going to type in here is the gconf-editor. So open that up and all you have to do now is to navigate to the options key, so which is in apps, and go down to update notify. In addition, here you what to uncheck this one, auto lunch; we do not want a auto launch. Therefore, that is pretty much it close it off. In addition, there we go we have it back to normal. So next time, its going to pop up the red icon I believe, and it will not automatically pop up like this anymore. Therefore, that is it, annoyance gone.
