Kiran Shafter: Hi I am Kiran Shafter in this segment I am going to show you how to use games to introduce children to healthy to eating?

It's a great way to teach children about new or unfamiliar foods, I am going to show you 2 different games, chopsticks and bingo. But you can use any games you want. The point is just to make it fun. The first game is chopsticks. Children get to choose a set to chopsticks and I get this fun, animal chopstick at any twister and the adults are going to use regular chop sticks it's going to be kids against adults and the point is to pick as many of these little sponges and all I did was cut up several sponges. So the point is to pick up as many of these as possible and for the kids to beat the adults.

The second game is bingo, and all I did for this was take some paper and use fruit and vegetable stickers to make bingo cards. Then I cut up little pieces of paper and put the same stickers on these little pieces of paper, and we play bingo just the way you normally play bingo I call up the cards and the kids if they have the fruit or vegetable for one of these little sponges on that fruit and vegetable.
