Today’s cooking tip is not so much a tip as it is a test. We’re going to do a test on these things called Tater Mitts. I’ve received an e-mail few weeks ago; somebody was asking me if I’ve ever worked with these things that you saw on TV on commercials called Tater Mitts. They look something like this, they’re rough on one side, smooth on the other, they look like cleaning rugs and they’re supposed to clean potatoes like in 8 seconds flat. So we’re going to try it out. Now, I’ve never seen it before, I received them as a Christmas gift this year, so I thought, hey, why not? So we’re going to do the test live right now. Alright, one thing I remember is always have the water running, you want t do this under running water, 8 seconds, count with me, here we go, should be completely peeled in 8 seconds. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and stop. (Laughter) It didn’t peel any of it, it didn’t peel one bit. Okay, so then the answer to the e-mail, they don’t work and Tater mitts are a total scam, don’t spend 20 bucks on them, alright? And do me a favor; make sure my mother don’t see this video. We got more cooking tips on the way.
