Hey everybody! David Basulto with yet another Film Making Central Premiere PRO CS4 Tutorial so, here we are back in Premiere PRO CS4. We’ve got some lovely footage here from our art bits collection of golf, this guys is driving, that’s a great shadow him driving the ball. We are going to use this to as a follow up to last week titling tutorial. With that, some of you ask if we show how to use the templates version of it. So, let’s take a look of how to add templates. We’re going to bring this footage down simply by grabbing and dragging, like that. And now, we are going to open up the Title. We’ll go to new title and based on template. Remember last week, we did default still, this is based on template. And this brings up this template chooser and we just down click here, and there are a ton of really cool templates here for the Title. Let just take a look at some in here. This would be something if you want to add a bunch of links possibly for your DVD menu.
Tons of cool stuff so let’s find something that we like here, let’s see, with the sports, there are sports and actually there is golf. And to be quite honest, I’ve just solve this I didn’t know we have that and that’s pretty cool. So that maybe we want this really fun golf lower third so we are going to choose that and we’re going to choose—and we are going to name this with the drive channel. Actually I’m going to put The Drive Channel. So that’s our new channel on driving.
And now of course, we’ve got this and as you know, I like to have everything neat so I’m going to drag this up in to my titles area and there it is now. So we’ve got some stuff to do here so lets just get in here with the text tool and call this The Drive—okay lets be more creative. The Daily Drive and we’ll go into here all you need to know. That’s all, very cool, very simple.
And of course if you want to do any kind of change of colors, I might want to just lower my opacity a little bit. So bring it down to say 75% and I don’t want too much. So let’s just add that, click out of here and now we just have to drag it over and any title that you can extends so I’m going to extend it to the very end there. And then we’re just going to watch this and here is this guy doing something really cool, striving the ball, the drive, The Daily Drive. And you can add some cool sound effects.
Now this might be a little too big so maybe I want to grab this corner and shrink that and we can bring this font size down to 25% maybe that’s kind of small, maybe that’s what he want. And this one as well, you can go down to 12. And maybe I want this to be over here instead and of course it set desire title saves so these are title save regions.
But let’s just say we want this like that so let’s just save that and I will bring the daily drive. It’s right there. It’s updated automatically so now, we can see it a little better, kind of cool stuff. And let’s say that’s a little too much for your title. Let’s set a new one. Let’s go to new title base on template once again and in the sports what else was in there in golf I think that was it. That was the only one lower third. Let’s—general sci-fi that’s fun, here is HD version sci-fi y, lower third okay so this is kind a wag but we will call this one—this is going to be tech and golf. New tech for golf you can tell how amazingly original I am this morning. And I might want to maybe lower the opacity this background a little bit, just have a little of sample of it maybe 65% and we’ll close that off. I didn’t name it so I’m going to the drive and that’s it. We’ll have this there. I’m going to do that and there’s our futuristic golf drive. Anyway, it’s really simple to do like I said tons of different templates you have. You can change them any which way you’d like. So, take a look with it.
