I know it is spring time and you are thinking, that is not really the time to clean out your gutter stem and not to think about gutter guards but it is and I will tell you why.
In the fall, we go ahead and we clean the gutters and take out all of the leaves and make them nice and pretty and maybe you may even have gutter guards. But you know what the problem is? It is the winter time.
During the winter time in early spring, the trees continue to generate debris. It could be twigs, it would flower blossoms, it would be a little helicopters, and it would be pine needles. All of those things can continue to clog up your gutters and dust belts. And you know what’s bad, those things also clog up many of the gutter guard products. What I like to do is look for gutter guard products that are easy to install and easy to remove. Some gutter guards do not allow you to do that because they have solid tops over the gutters. Those are hard to work with.
This particular gutter guards do traps small debris. Check out the small corn, and even small leaves like this can easily get caught up in this diamond cut outs.
Here is the latest gutter guard. It is made out of plastic. It has got a smooth face here. It has holes in it that allows you to shoot water down into the gutter, but here is the best part of all. It is easy to remove, it comes out like that and it is easy to put back into the gutter.
Gutters guards are important, make sure you buy one that have got holes in it and that are easy to take in and out.
