Bernadette Chimner: You want to look at setting for the LSAT isn’t an investment. It’s going to be one small piece of a very large pie as you begin to spend money applying to school. Spend a lot of money actually going to school. This is going to be the first stop in a large number of investments in your life. So you don’t want to scrimp on this sinvestment because the better you do on the LSAT the more likely you all ready get scholarships to help you have less die too ultimately.

So, when it comes to choosing between private tutoring and a class. If you learn best in a group setting you definitely want to look into classes. And if there is some certain things that you feel like you’re going to need specific individual help with then definitely look into private tutoring as well. However, you shouldn’t consider private tutoring as substitute for a good class. Unless you have really deep brackets because private tutoring is really expensive. Good private tutoring is really expensive.

So, a lot of people say “oh I’ll just get 10 hours of private tutoring instead of taking an entire class.” But listen those 10 hours of private tutoring are not going to cover everything that’s covered in the 80 hours class. So the best advice is to look into taking a class and then just get a little private tutoring on this side budgetary wise to supplement the extra stuff that you need.
