Hey guys! It's Ren from makeup by Ren-Ren and today, I’m going to do a Valentine’s Day look tutorial but this is going to be a naughty Valentine’s Day look. So if you’re interesting in how I did this, stay tuned for more.
Okay guys so, Valentine’s Day is swiftly approaching, February 14th so better go ahead and start getting those plans you getting for Valentine’s Day look. And today, I decided to so something really fun. I’m working with another fabulous YouTuber. Her name is Ms. Deborah Mae, we decide to do collaboration for you guys, and the theme was Naughty and Nice look for Valentine’s Day so she got to do the nice look and I got to do the naughty look. So, even if you don’t have a Valentine Day, go out there and have fun. Rock your makeup and work it because today. I did something really fun and arty and you know what, it's just fun playing the makeup so that’s what I was doing and whenever it. It looks like this; it’s really great opportunity for me to try new techniques. So that’s what I do today. It's kind of like a rocker/Kiss/Car War or Diva look. So pretty much, what I have to do is make sure I put all the foundation first and then that’s when you can get started with the look. I started with just pure mineral foundation on and then you’ll see how I did the look because that’s kind of easy to do. So stay tuned for my tutorial.
Okay guys, so first you’re going to apply pure Charcoal line to your upper eyelid but just up to the crease. Don’t go over the crease and I’m using this small concealer brush from A Design and kind of making a winged out shaped and getting a nice solid white surface. Next use red from my Choice Makeup Haven 96 color palette and I’m using just a tip of Michael’s Maxine’s Moth brush. The tiniest one I could find and I’m creating a cut a crease look. Just go right above the white and turn them to get too much into the white because you want it to be very distinguished and we’re going to keep this harsh line. Because I just—it kind of goes with the look and then go back to that palate and use this pretty hot pink color and then we’re going to go ahead and use a fluffy eye shadow brush. Something that’s has enough stiffness and the bristles to blend out a really shear color and we’re going to put the pink right above the red. Try not to get the red blows out too much because you want to keep that harsh line and then we’re going to go ahead and wing out the red line because the multiple wings going on this look. And again, blend out above the red just too kind of give it as really radiant type effect look on the eye shadow and we pick pink because it just looks a little softer and then run—just gives more dimension to the look. Pull back over that crease and make sure it's super sharp.
Next, my new favorite eyeliner, the Pin Ultimate, one from MAC, go ahead and start to make a little bit of an extended V on your teardrop area. This adds to the drama and the fine tip of the liner really let's you do that. Next, we’re going to make a thick, very black line and also wing out that liner and winging above where I usually would because I’m putting two wings on this eyeliner. So make sure that you kind of go right and probably about a millimeter up to where you’d usually winging out. And I’m just going to touch that—any areas that don’t look smooth. This eyeliner is really, really good. I love it so much.
Try to match it with the other eye. Next, I’m going take this whitish pink color from the same palette from Stars Makeup Haven, use my new brush from MAC, and just apply a little bit of a highlight. I’m kind of using short strokes to keep it with the gradient effect and not mess up the shell bellow and I’m going back with the pink on that fluffy brush. I’m just making everything super even from the inside to the top and all around.
Next, I’m going to take Bobby brown gel eyeliner in black ink and I’m using the fine eyeliner brush from Bobby Brown as well an d we’re going to make some really dramatic eyebrows and you know, you can skip this step if you want. I to have added the drama, the effect, basically, we’re making them very boxy and very arched and I’m trying to use this little liner as possible. I’m taking from around the top in our corner and spreading it throughout and touch it up with of those little pointed and flat-ended cue tips, just so that way the line is very square and perfect.
All right guys, I just want to interrupt the regular scheduled programming to take a few seconds about what I used on my eyes and it's this fabulous palette right here. Look at al the pretty colors. There’s actually 96 colors in this palette. Not 88 like the typical Coastal Sense and this palette wow! I’m going to act girl when I pull this out I was impressed. This is really great and it's extremely affordable for those of you out there who have been kind of like—what’s up friend? We can't afford that so this is affordable. Definitely, it within your range and the shadows are extremely pigmented. There are still many colors, 96 colors from bright to neutral. So I’m just giving you a sneak peek and I want you to stay tuned from my video. It’s going to be called cheap makeup palette so stay tuned for that and I’ll have it coming up soon. But this is what working with my eyes and it's just fabulous. So I just want to show that really click and back to the regular scheduled programming.
Okay, back to what we are doing, now, I’m taking pure char Moline again, making a line right underneath my teardrop, and then with the black, using this small concealer brush. And then try to keep it off of the black because that just separate section. So back to the Bobby Brown liner and the fine liner brush, which is really great by the way and we’re going to go right underneath the white and bring into the lower lash line as well as the water line and kind of make—line it and make another wing. So you have two wings on this look that’s why we raised the first one up a bit. And just kind of make sure it's really smooth and even and that there are no gaps and try to match it to the other eye and then between the two black wings at the end. Fill it with some of that pure white chromaline just to give it a little bit of extra detail and then I’m going to take my Michael’s small moth brush and add a little bit of the red from my palette underneath the black eyeliner on the bottom just to smoke it out. And use the same brush and kind of bring the red a little bit lower just so that way it kind—it's like multiple lines going on this look and clean up anything that you have to with the key tip. That’s what they’re for and I am so into like discordant blended look so I always touch it, touch it up.
Now, we’re going to the MAC #42 lashes which are the most dramatic one in the last bar collection released a couple of weeks ago and applying it with my dual lash adhesive in dark. So here, I am trying to put it on with the palette, the mirror and the palette and of course, use whatever mascara you want. This is L’Oreal Scopic, so that you can blend in your false lashes and real lashes together. This just helps to that way; it kind of doesn’t look weird if you have six strait lashes like me poking out from underneath the false lashes.
Next, you’re taking an aerial blush, which is fabulous hot pink fuchsia color. I’m using the 109 and I’m actually using it as a contour and a blush. So bring it into the hold of the cheekbone and then blend it softly out. I’m actually blending over the little heart sides dew on the side of my face. So that way, it's kind of like you can still see as a blush as well as a contour color. And then we’re just going to bring on to the other side. This is such a really, really pretty color. I wish I could use it more often. Now, I’m going back to my final liner brush from Bobby Brown and I’m making a little heart because it kind of got figured out with the blush application but it's so easy. I didn’t make—I really like—it’s really just like a little z mark but make a little bit thicker at the ends and that’s how you get that heart shape. And I’m just kind of putting sporadically on my face. It kind of like Cat Vondi has with her stars. Vary the shape and have some big and have some small, truly up to you.
So that’s that. Let's move on to the lips and I’m going to just stick with MAC Liquorish and Dim because it's pretty easy and I didn’t have to pull out the lipstick and I’m basically putting this over my lips. Make sure your lips are not at all chopped and dry because it's hard to out it on. But I’m knouting out my lip and just apply it on my finger and then I’m taking clear glosses from one of the pro color last glosses. It's just clear with a little bit of shimmer in it, I’m putting on top of the Liquorish just too kind of give it a little bit more softness, and that’s it. I hope you guys enjoyed the look and make sure to check out Deborah May for her. Until next time Bella’s.
