DJ Ty from agiprodj.com and today we are checking out the best Vestax PDX 3000 turntable, serious contender for a turntable. There are a lot of rumors going around that techniques aren't available or the molds aren't there into their lives and they will no longer be in MK2's and MK5's. They will only see the M5Gs in the US and the M6G in Japan only. So if that happens, God forbid, what do we do? There are lots of other options, and the PDX 3000 is certainly one of them.
A lot of people have talked to me and told me that I don't really like the look of the Vestax; I don't like the plastic looking chassis. They don't look heavy duty, they don't look durable. These things are nice, they are sturdy. They have got weight feel to them that the techniques do, nice high torque engine on them. Of course you have got the 33 and 45 RPM mode as well.
The 3000 comes with straight tones arm, if you prefer an S tone arm like with the technique ship with, you go with the 3000 or the PDX 3000 Mix has a nice chrome S or nice aluminum tone arm. Nice, in my way, nice and durable. Standard pitch control, -10, +10, there is no lock in the middle so it doesn't rest there. There is no fine pitch that you have got to get rid of there. And it has also got a Ultra Pitch setting so you can just get down right dirty with this thing. Fast or slow, you like the chopped or screwed mix down in the south. This has got the ultra pitch settings.
It's got Quartz lock settings, you can go reverse with it, you can also adjust the amount of torque that this turntable has and it has got, of course, mix settings where it might be the amount of torque if you are doing just some housemixing or what not. And then you can crank up that torque better for turntablism and what not. Also has break speed adjustments so you can adjust the amount of time that it takes for the break to turn down on the turntable, very similar to like a CDJ from Pioneer or like the Denon CD Player.
So, Vestax PDX 3000 turntable, very cool turntable. Certainly an option, that if I would still spend in vinyl, this is what I would definitely be on. Everybody else has got these babies for $599 but you got to call me to get your best price, toll free 866-7766-499. DJ Ty from agiprodj.com taking a quick overview and checking out the Vestax PDX 3000, don't ask me to do any scratching or turntablist videos because the only thing I can scratch is that. So, thanks for checking this out today guys, I am out.
