We also have a capture on here as well, so if you have a video camera and you are connected to that by either by USB or file wire and you select this and you select your settings, TV or Hayes TV or STI, just click Okay. Now my camera is not actually again connected, so obviously I have got an error come up here. So obviously if your camera if your camera is connected you would get this screen saying I am connected and obviously you click on this button here which is gray out at the moment but that is because my camera is not in and it will capture the video. Once you have captured all your video, you press the stop button and all your video files that you have captured from the camcorder will appear in this box here and I will say once you have finish that you can just drag them into your project media here and you can start editing.
So, yes, it is a very, very useful as well. So if you got your own video footage that you are not ready into your computer, you can do that reverse on your Vegas, you know. You got advance capture as well, you also got a print to tapes, so if you have got a correct leads for this you can actually record video tapes to your PC as well. So, yes, it is quite powerful with what you can use with this. You can also add photographs in here as well. So if I show you this, import, media, shift, okay, it is a picture actually, something from another project that I am doing. But you know, you can add this picture in as well, see, and you can change the size of this because obviously a picture is not actually a moving time line or video but obviously you can slight the length for that, and there is no problem at all, you know, you can do.
So if we go into media generators, go to Default text, move it over the top of it. Type in whatever you want. I will just type in, hello! Okay, right. You will notice that we have a bit of a problem here it is just showing the text and not the video. Now to change this, grab hold of the video and move it down, there you go. For some reason, once you always have to move the video down and not the actual text. If I move this text underneath, it does not show it.
So I move the text above it and if possible you need to move the video far down and yes, I want to say if you went over from edit list, you can obviously change the placement of it. Because sometimes the writing, as you can see, it got wiped in and you can not see the words properly, you just change the writing, set it over there, properties, you can fadeout the video, I am turning the background of the writing black, now it is transparent, it takes color cause it is invisible in the back, yes, I will say you can do whatever you really want you can fade the cinema, besides you are earlier, fade it out so the writing appears and disappears. And then I see it really.
