View of Vienna

Located at the cross roads of Europe, Vienna has a population of a million and a half people. Although modern, the City has retained its imperial monuments of past glories currently symbols of freedom. World history unfolds with the treasures that numerous museums in the central area. Most tourists will visit Saint Stevens’ Cathedral and imposing Gothic structure from the Middle 12th century. Situated on Danube River, Vienna has lush parks and a real Renaissance feel. This cosmopolitan capital city preserves its heritage while keeping up with the times. In the midst of architectural treasures, everyday life in Austria goes on. There are palaces to enjoy, like Schonbrunn, the lavish 1400 room summer palace with elegant fountains, gardens and terraces. Something that has become a trademark of Vienna is the giant Ferris wheel with cars large enough to hold whole parties of people around the table. The amusement park here features many rides and is surrounded by green areas perfect for inline skating.
