Bruges became a major city in the middle ages as a result of the clock trade. It never hurt that it was beautifully situated on a system of canals that have created the city’s reputation for being amongst the most picturesque.

The growth mark is today a shopper’s paradise. Belgian lace is world famous and the best of the lock can be found in the streets. Choices include blouses, table cloths, napkins and wedding bells.
