Visit Montage Laguna in California

This weekend our family is off to the mountains for a fun filled get away in Big Bear Lake. We’re staying at the Northwoods Resort; the Big Bear Hotel that is right in the village. The resort has a rustic hunting lodge kind of f feel with plenty of woodsy décor and a big stone fire place in the lobby. The gift shop sells snacks. Out of the 138 rooms here, nine of them are suites. We’re staying in the family suite which is like having your own private Big Bear cabin but with the comforts of a hotel. It even has its own bunk beds and fire place. The Northwoods Resort and Conference Centers are popular destination for businesses who use it for every thing from food shows and to Pilates retreats. The resort offers special ski packages in the winter and a variety of fishing and boating packages in the summer. After a full day exploring the mountain, stop by Stillwell Lounge for a little night cap. There on site Stillwell’s restaurant serves that new American cuisine and some great seafood on trays. We had a great weekend in Big Bear and the Northwoods fit our needs perfectly.
