Visit the Gateway in Salt Lake City, Utah

Adam Richman: I’m at the Gateway an open-air complex that was actually built as part of Salt Lake City’s urban renewal for these 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Historically this area actually centered around the Depo originally a hub for the Union Pacific Railroad. But today the Gateway is home to Museums, Entertainment, Night Life and shopping. This is Man versus Food with A Side of City. Adam Richman: Now, what you love the most about to coming to Gateway? Female Speaker 1: I love the fountain. I am loving that people find it, it’s got music playing, it really awesome. Adam Richman: Really! Have you played in it? Female Speaker 1: Yes, I have. Adam Richman: Really! Female Speaker 1: Sometime Yeah. Adam Richman: Really so you told me that it does eventually get warmer enough even to play in a fountain. Female Speaker 1: It does eventually. Adam Richman: Because today I fill like -- Female Speaker 1: Oh! Look it played on. Adam Richman: Oh! Is it Female Speaker 1: It is playing right now, there he go. Adam Richman: You know what I’m going to hold on, because today I feel like a going down to Louis Run as we speak. Female Speaker 1: It feels like that today. Adam Richman: So is this so considered cool by the locals? Female Speaker 1: It’s still not as cool as we got yet. Adam Richman:Right on. Hey sometime just a little bit of a cool is all you need and let me tell you. So they stick at it little bit of cool and push it all the way to ice cold. Female Speaker 1: Okay. Adam Richman: So you come here to do what to shop, to eat, to what? Female Speaker 2: Just about everything. Adam Richman: Really! Female Speaker 2: Oh! Yeah I’m love it. Adam Richman: So what do you love the most about coming to the Gateway? Female Speaker 2: Its Sylvania it down town, its culture everything there is everything here. Adam Richman: Really! Female Speaker 2: Yeah. Adam Richman: This past holiday season unless you enjoy your shopping. Female Speaker 2: Pretty much. Adam Richman: Really! Female Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Adam Richman: Good deals? Female Speaker 2: Great deal. Adam Richman: I mean I know that it is essentially coming like the concert of a Malls, so its like all your Mall classics plus, plus, plus. Female Speaker 2: Yeah. Adam Richman: Now you ever come down here just for leisure? Female Speaker 2: Yeah! Yeah, specially the summer. Adam Richman: Oh really Female Speaker 2: We have so much fun. Adam Richman: Really! Female Speaker: Yeah, you can sit down and have you know a dinner and watch people, because I love watching people. Adam Richman: Good people watching spot? Female Speaker 2: Yes excellent. Adam Richman: Okay so if I want to come to Salt Lake and really get a chance to really get a flavor of the community. Female Speaker 2: Right.
