Visit the Snowmass Rodeo in Colorado Male: We’re at the Snowmass Rodeo. Female: This is 10th year to – and it is a series that we do for the summer. So, we gathered all the livestock from all the ranches in Southern Colorado, the first part of June and we relocate the entire herd up here to the pasture. Rodeo has a very, very long heritage. The professional rodeo nowadays consists of livestock and then cowboys that participate, travel all over the country and compete for the price money. They get their gear on. Our people load the chutes and they must get aboard their animals and ride for eight seconds to qualify to the rest. Male: I started riding in rodeos when I was about 17 or so. I started off riding bareback and bulls and then I started riding saddle bronc. I've been being in this rodeo here for about three years and it’s a good rodeo. As a saddle bronc rider, it's kind of like you’re riding a saddle, this horse behind me but you don’t have a horn on it where you -- up to if you got to count on. The horse comes out, the chute rocking are rocking and -- and you try to ride them for eight seconds while he’s acting all crazy. You see people get hung up every once in a while. You see actual people break bones and stuff. I’ve never seen anybody die from it but if you play rough, you get hurt rough and it's just part of the game. Male: I've been coming here for about 10 years. And the reason we keep coming back is well, we enjoy it. It’s a beautiful night. We want our son to experience something that we’ve always liked. Female: Tonight, he is doing the mutton busting and I'm a little nervous about that, seeing a five-year-old get on one of those sheep, but it will be fun. Male: It is our first time here. We’re here on vacation and we’re from Oklahoma, so we do rodeos fairly often and we thought this would be something to come and watch. I ride bulls, so I want to see bull riders and see how good bulls are, how good the riders are. Male: We got good stock here, not really buck and it makes it worthwhile and have all those people come out every night and cheer you on. Male: I feel pretty good tonight. It's my sunny night, not any rain on us which is nice so I hate --
