Hey everyone, I am Eric Rochow and this is Real World Green. Today’s green tip, use your public library.
We are here at the Brooklyn Public Library, just right near my house to talk about them. There are a couple of ways that libraries are really green. First of all, they have got a ton of books in here, so you do not need to go buy them, so we do not need to print more books which waste more paper. So, if you are looking for Horus Third, which is this giant set of books, they already got it here. So you do not have to go out and buy this which is probably about a hundred dollars or so.
But seriously, a bunch of books, they have got, bestsellers, paperbacks, and beekeeping so I might want to go and I want to see what they have about beekeeping here. Also, they have the current newspapers, national and local papers, probably some international papers as well.
And, my sister tells me this by the way, most libraries are on a public transit line alike a bus line or a train line, so you can take a bus or train, ride to the library. And you are even greener. And they haven free internet access so you can save some money there if you like. I mean what is not to like. Public library—go check it out, this one is Brooklyn public library. But yt you can find your local library and be a lot greener, all right.
Come to the Green House, green-house.tv, Tell me what you think, all right. Have a great day, be green and go to your library.
